The tecto pergola is a system of permanently fixed sun screening blades. The angled timber blades are designed so that in summer when the sun is at its highest point the sun's rays bounce off the blades, shading the ground, walls and windows of your house. In winter the lower sun angle allows direct radiation through to the interior of your house, giving you a natural heat gain where it is most needed.
Sun Room / Games Room
As an additional room to your house or for enclosing a patio or courtyard, the sun-room / games room is ideal. Competitive in cost, the glass and timber structure has the added benefit of heating the house in winter and cooling quickly at night in summer.
The angled timber blades over the glass roof allow full sun penetration in winter thus helping to heat your house, while in summer the room cools more quickly than the rest of the house making it a very pleasant area early mornings and evenings.
